El Cerrito means "the little hill," which is exactly why we named our team after it. This is home base, the place Rachel M. lives raises her family... and where we've built our business from the ground up. The appeal is the range. You've got the tree-lined flats with approachable homes near both BART stations, and the hills above, where mid-century houses and 1920s Spanish homes look out over the Bay. The Ohlone Greenway runs right through it, the Hillside Natural Area opens onto some of the best Golden Gate views in the East Bay, and the farmers market at El Cerrito Plaza runs rain or shine. It's a real community, family-friendly, walkable in the right pockets, and an easy run into San Francisco or Oakland when you need it.

It's also, on the whole, a seller's market. Inventory is tight, demand is steady, and well-prepared homes regularly sell over asking, especially the ones priced and positioned with intent. What makes El Cerrito tricky is how much variation there is block to block, from the flats to the hills, from updated craftsmans to homes that need a clear-eyed renovation read.
